Ceramics - Scape Series
The disciplines of painting and ceramics are melded in my studio practice and this is very evident in the painterly style of my Scape Series. Stained porcelain slips are used like paint, thin water colour washes and thick impasto textures. Mark making, sgraffito, mono printing are all employed in an expressive response to the landscape.
